![]() When the slider is on “Background”, you are painting and working in the background of your card. (the only exceptions are the square and oval selector tools).There is a slider near the top of the Tools palette, which can be changed between “Background” and “Objects”. Where double-clicking on most tools will open a drop-down drawer with specific options for that particular tool. Which will then open or close the Tools Palette: ![]() The tools palette is found in the Window menu: Painting on the BackgroundPainting on the background is done with the tools in the Tools palette. ![]() Clicking on a button makes something happen. Graphics, Text and Movie objects are the basic actors, and Buttons are the directors.
